Bass and vocal.

Been playing bass since the age of 14 mainly due to my fingers being
too fat to play guitar, and being crap at it, (Mick is a freak
of nature).
Started in a Folk & Pop band then, Prog Rock, then Funk, then Pop,
then Soul, (Oh how I did love that Soul) and now Rock Blues and Pop
again.

Favourite bass players

Paul McCartney (Beatles), Andy Fraser (Free), James Jamerson (Funk

Brothers), Felix Papalardi, (Mountain) Chris Squire (Yes, hence the

Rickenbacker) and Jaco Pastorious (Weather Report), hence the fretless

bass)

Rock, Pop, Blues, Soul and Reggae have all had an influence in shaping
my bass style which some love and some hate. Too many notes? Well, maybe sometimes.

Musical influences

Gary Cooke and his dad David for getting me started in 1970 and the
late great Steve Milner for just about everything else, we all miss you.

Musical Ambition

My aim as a bass player is to be the bridge between the melody and the
rhythm sandwiched between Mick & Russ, what a thought!!!!!!!
Just to do it, kick ass have some fun
